Selection Procedure:
1. Medical Standard:
(A) A candidate must have strong physical and mental health, the chest should be well developed with a minimum of 5 cm extension, there should be normal hearing with each ear, an adequate number of natural teeth, that is, healthy 14 dental points with gums. The candidate should not have diseases like deformities of bones, hydrocephalus, varicose veins or haemorrhoids.
(B) Service of combatants or remedial candidates should be in the medical category SHAPE-1. Recruitment candidates will be exempted from recruiting for medical examination at the time of the recruitment rally. A certificate indicating the medical category duly signed by the Army Medical Authority where the person is serving and counted by the commanding officer of the unit will be presented by the candidate.
2. Physical Standards and Fitness Test.
3. Screening. Candidates found eligible will be issued admit card for initial screening, which will include the relevant certificate, medical examination at the recruitment area / regimental centers followed by the original certificate, physical fitness test check.

Selection Procedure:
(A) Shortlisting of applications. The Unified Headquarters of MoD (Army) reserves the right to shortlist the applications without assigning any reason.
